A Trip to Prague – Spanish students with their Czech classmates taken on an excursion to our capital
6th November 2023
After a restless night at Karla’s, we all (nine of us!!!) had to wake up early. Even though the ringing of an alarm had been annoying us since 6 am, we ended up at the train station three minutes before the train was to leave, where a worried Ms. Vančáková, who almost got a heart attack, had been waiting.
Since we were all tired and half asleep, the way to Prague went quickly. One last toilet break at the railway station in Prague and our excursion could start. Our first stop was a vegetarian restaurant Dhaba Beas. There were many yummy dishes, which filled our stomaches to a maximum. When we were full like balloons, we decided that it was time to burn those calories by a walk. Ms. Vančáková
understood the assignment and took us to almost every sight we could think of. Our Spanish friends had a great opportunity to see Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square, the Old Town Square, some famous streets and other beautiful places.
Our legs started slowly falling off when we reached the famous Prague Castle. Catching a breath we admired the beauty of our national symbol. We decided to buy the tickets and have a look inside the St. Vitus Cathedral and the Golden Lane. After an enjoyable day, it was time to go. We quickly bought some snacks for the train ride back and when we finally saw our seats, we almost cried with excitement. Instead of sleeping on the way back, we decided to chat and have some more fun.
